The Parks in brief: • Arches National Park boasts over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, including the world-famous Delicate Arch. • Bryce Canyon National Park’s terra cotta hoodoos form a maze throughout the sandstone canyon. • Canyonlands National park encompasses a landscape of canyons, mesas, and buttes carved by the Colorado River. • Zion National Park, Utah’s first national park, encompasses massive canyons hemmed in by towering cliffs of crimson sandstone. Each National park expresses a unique personality in winter, when snow caps the spires and arches, and dusts the valley floors.
