Nature Photography Tours I offer private & small group nature photography tours which include personalized, but informal instruction. My exclusive adventures allow you to learn from an award-winning professional nature photographer in a focused and collaborative way. When you travel with me, you will be a professional photographer. I will take you to spectacular locations to help you create images that other photographers can not. My tours include several days of shooting, discussion of composition & technique, digital editing, and advice on marketing your images. You will learn to scout locations, use dynamic weather, follow wildlife migrations, and search for seasonal opportunities to create dramatic images. A typical day of shooting on my trips involves waking up 1-2 hours before sunrise, shooting the sunrise for 2 hours, a short breakfast, downloading & reviewing images for 1 hour, a short lunch, an early afternoon scouting session, shooting the sunset for 2 hours, dinner, more image editing, and an early bed time. My tour days typically last 15 hours & invlove several miles of accumulated hiking. My mantra is, “We can sleep and eat when we get home!”
