Bugaboo Glacier Provincial Park Pictures, Photos, Photography

Bugaboo Glacier Provincial Park is situated in the rugged Purcell Mountains in the British Columbia Rockies. The park is located 28 miles (45 km) west of Highway 95 of Brisco, between Golden and Radium Hot Springs. The park encompasses extensive ice fields, the largest glaciers in the Purcells, and spectacular granite spires, some of which exceed 10,000 feet (3,000 m) in elevation. Climbers come from all over the world each year to try and climb the incredible granite walls of Bugaboo Spire, Snowpatch Spire, and the Howser Spires.

Photographing the mountains above the Bugaboo Glacier requires overnight backpacking with rewarding views of Snowpatch Spire and Bugaboo Spire.
